I am a Lecturer in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Sheffield. I also have a University website, with information about teaching and research.

I enjoy mountain walking and cross-country skiing and was a member of the Oxford University Walking Club. I am now a member of the Sheffield Walking Group. I was also involved with the Oxford University Contract Bridge Association.

Why "Grinah"

Well, I had to choose something... Grinah Stones is a gritstone outcrop on the east side of Bleaklow in the Dark Peak.
